About Us

Founded in 1989, VarTech Systems Inc. is a U.S.-based company specializing in designing and manufacturing custom rugged and industrial computers, monitors, and HMIs. Serving customers globally, our products are engineered, fabricated, and assembled in North Carolina by a team of engineers, technicians, and project coordinators. All of our units are built to customer's unique specifications.

Core Competencies

Our core competencies include:

Meeting Mil-STD computer requirements with MIL-DTL 38999 connectors, EMI protection, shock and vibration protection, and NVIS displays.
Ingress protection ratings: IP65, IP66, and IP67.
NEMA enclosures: NEMA 4, 4X, and 6.
Class 10000 Cleanroom.

VarTech's units are used in a diverse set of industries and applications including manufacturing, the oil, gas, and energy production industries, transportation, food processing, life sciences, and defense.

Our customers include Boeing, Caterpillar Inc., DuPont, ExxonMobil, General Electric, the MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority), Whole Foods Market, and every branch of the U.S. military.

Our entire engineering, production, and assembly process occurs under one roof in Clemmons, North Carolina, with the exception of an optional color finishing, which takes place less than an hour's drive from our facility. This frequently allows us to offer faster lead times than the competition.

When possible, we source our components from domestic manufacturers.
